Finding My Way Again Sessions

Reflective, one-off conversations designed to help you make sense of your experiences with faith, spirituality, and religion – without an agenda or assumptions.

Are you questioning or rethinking your faith and struggling to find someone to speak honestly with? Do you like the idea of a space to talk things through, but don’t feel like ongoing therapy is the right thing for you just now?

I offer one-off online sessions where we can map out your experiences of faith, religion and spirituality. Together, we’ll step back and reflect on what has felt meaningful and what has been difficult, helping you clarify the beliefs and practices you want to hold onto and those you’re ready to let go of.

Clients often find these conversations help them make sense of their previous experiences, while also feeling clearer about their next steps. As with all my work, I don’t have a vested interest in whether you move toward or away from faith – my aim is to help you feel less alone on your journey.

What’s included?

  • A pre-session questionnaire to help focus our time together
  • A 90-minute online session
  • A short written summary of our conversation

The cost is £200. If you’d like to book a session, do get in touch.

What to expect:

Before the session: You’ll complete a questionnaire about your experiences and hopes for the session. This can be a helpful process in itself, as it encourages new reflections even before we meet.

During the session: Over 90 minutes, we’ll explore where you’ve been, where you are now, and what you want moving forward. I’ll guide the conversation, so you won’t have to worry about where to start or what to say. I’ll make sure we follow what feels most important to you.

After the session: I’ll send you a short written summary of our conversation for you to reflect on in your own time.

Is this for me?

Yes, if you’re questioning your faith or finding that your spirituality is no longer quite working for you.

Probably not if you’ve been through deeply distressing experiences that are difficult to talk about. A one-off session is unlikely to provide the support you need, but I do offer ongoing therapy – do reach out about that instead.

How is this different from spiritual direction?

This is a psychological formulation session, rather than spiritual direction; I draw on my expertise as a Clinical Psychologist, offering space for reflection and meaning-making without prescribing a particular spiritual path. While spiritual direction often assumes an ongoing relationship with faith or a spiritual tradition, these conversations are designed to meet you wherever you are, including places of doubt, disconnection, or transition. I don’t approach your experience with a spiritual or religious agenda, but with curiosity, respect, and a desire to help you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels true to you.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch to book a Finding My Way Again session.
